International Academic Alliance

Accordia Global Health Foundation's International Academic Alliance (IAA) is a global consortium of academicians, physicians, clinicians and researchers who work collaboratively to develop permanent capacity for health innovation and leadership in Africa; establish and sustain African institutions for research, training, and clinical services in health; pursue clinical and basic biomedical research to further the understanding and knowledge of infectious disease care, treatment and prevention in Africa; promote sustainable high quality prevention and care for Africans; and translate medical advances in health research into the training of African clinicians and public health providers, to influence policy and quality of care in Africa. Members of the IAA provide expertise and guidance to shape future healthcare programs in Africa and to provide African academic medical centers with a strong source of international expertise in infectious disease.
