Professor O.A. Ladipo is a renowned Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 40 years experience in health care delivery and development work.    He is the founder and President/CEO of Association for Reproductive and Family Health [ARFH], a leading not-for profit, non-governmental organization (NGO) in Nigeria that is noted nationally and internationally for its contributions towards improving sexual and reproductive health among the youth and adults.

Previously, Prof. Ladipo was a faculty staff at the University College Hospital, (UCH) Ibadan where during his 20years experience introduced varieties of innovative programs and research into new and emerging reproductive health technologies. On retirement from UCH, he served as the Executive Secretary and Program Director for South-to-South Cooperation in Reproductive Health in Bahia, Brazil and later as Locum Professor of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the University of Wales teaching hospital, Cardiff, United Kingdom.

Prof Ladipo has provided reproductive health technical assistance to developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America and he works collaboratively with other agencies and non-governmental organizations to stem the spread of HIV/AIDS.  Many Nigerian Local, State and Federal agencies have also benefited from mentoring or technical assistance through ARFH, the Non-Governmental Organisation that he established in 1989.
 
Prof Ladipo is currently the chairman of National Reproductive Health working group, member of IPPF's International Medical Advisory Panel (IMAP) and President of the African Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AFOG). He is an erudite scholar with over 171 publications and he has also earned international and national awards.
