Lisa Foster has more than 20 years' experience in the corporate, foundation, and nonprofit sectors, leading social media, global health, and political democratization programs across Asia, Africa, Europe, and Latin America.

She currently serves as Head of Global Policy Programs for Facebook, based out of Menlo Park, CA.

Previously, Foster was senior director, Corporate Responsibility for Pfizer Inc where she led the design and development of Pfizer's signature global partnerships. These programs included investments in HIV/AIDS, malaria, neglected tropical diseases, oncology, disaster relief, and skills-based corporate volunteering. Prior to joining Pfizer, Foster served as program director for Population Services International where she launched one of the first insecticide-treated mosquito net social marketing programs on the African continent. This innovation is now fully integrated as a mainstream public health intervention across dozens of developing countries today.

Foster has served as brand manager at S.C Johnson, based in the UK, where she supported product development efforts, including market research, packaging, pricing, advertising, and promotions campaigns across seven European markets. Foster was also Logistics Coordinator for the National Democratic Institute, a nonprofit, nonpartisan, NGO supporting democratic institutions and practices around the world; and worked at Ogilvy, Adams & Rinehart, where she supported the development of client communications campaigns.

Foster holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University's Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in International Relations from Connecticut College.
