The Program & Research Director will lead new program development for WAIDI and support TICWA and IDI development efforts as needed, in close consultation with Accordia’s senior management and program staff. This position offers the rare opportunity for a creative and motivated professional to be part of a start-up team leading the growth of sustainable African institutions. The successful candidate will be charged with building relationships with government officials, academic institutions, other governments and the private sector; representing Accordia and its partner organizations to U.S. government agencies and other potential donors; and supporting Accordia leadership in planning and implementation of activities across country programs. Director of Finance & Administration
The Director of Finance & Administration will direct and lead the financial and administrative activities of Accordia, providing oversight of Accordia’s financial resources and management of its administrative functions including information technology and facilities. The Director will report to the Vice President and will work closely with the senior management team at Accordia as well as Accordia’s primary implementing partners, the Infectious Diseases Institute, in Kampala Uganda and the West African Infectious Diseases Institute, in Abuja, Nigeria.
