August 20, 2012, Washington D.C. - Since our founding, Accordia Global Health Foundation has had the distinct honor of operating under the guidance of some of the most distinguished researchers and scientists in the fields of health and medicine. Three of these leaders, Dr. Warner C. Greene, Dr. Thomas Quinn, and Dr. W. Michael Scheld, have recently been recognized for their extensive professional achievements and on-going dedication to improving health and medicine worldwide.
We join in celebrating the contributions of these individuals. In addition to their considerable contributions to scientific research and medical education, each has played a critical role in the formation and continued success of our flagship Center of Excellence, the Infectious Diseases Institute, as well as our other global health programs.
