Multi-Country Initiatives
Fostering Health Leadership and Collaboration across the Continent
Accordia Global Health Foundation is committed to facilitating South-South collaboration, advancing best practices among African centers of excellence (COEs) in health, and providing opportunities to strengthen the continent’s health leaders.
COEs in health train young scientists who will serve as Africa’s leaders in research, government, and education for decades to come. Creating linkages among COEs is key to developing permanent capacity and strengthening health systems across Africa.
Through Accordia’s annual summit and strategic multi-country initiatives, Accordia gives African COEs’ leaders opportunities to collaborate and provides forums to discuss common challenges and potential solutions. Accordia also explores cutting-edge methods for improving health throughout the region and delivers technical assistance to our partners to implement proven programming models.
