The current Winter 2009/2010 edition of The Alliance features the 2009 Celebration of Partnership, which was held this year in New York City in November 2009. This annual event featured a symposium and reception that brought together representatives from government, academia, industry, NGOs, foundations, and other entities interested in infectious disease research and treatment. NIAID Director Dr. Anthony Fauci was presented Accordia's Global Health Leadership Award, and gave the evening's keynote address. In this edition of The Alliance you can also learn more about IDI's HIV/AIDS and TB outreach in rural Uganda, the expansion of Accordia's Malaria Training Program, and Ambassador Eric Goosby's recent visit to IDI.
